The Grand Tetons Wildlife
We had lots of opportunities to observe the wildlife of the Park. Jim wanted to take photos of the Moose of the area, and this proved to be the most difficult. We managed to catch a lone Moose out in the woods. A habitat frequented by Moose was near the Teton Village entrance. Jim went out very early in the mornings and late evenings - times, we were told, when the Moose were most likely to come out. But we only saw one during the whole week. Other wildlife included Bison, Elk, Eagles and Cranes (seen above). Jim claims to have seen one other Moose (in addition to the one above) - but I have my doubts about this "sighting"!
